Kidzone RAF Benevolent Fund Childcare Centre provides quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 14 years, 0730-1730 Monday to Friday, 50 weeks a year. Our facility is open to Service personnel, Service contractors as well as members of the local community.

The aim of KIDZONE is to enhance the development and education of children and provide for their individual needs. In particular, by offering inclusive and appropriate play and learning facilities that meets the needs of all children regardless of family status, disability, colour, ethnic origin, culture, religion and belief.

Our facilities accommodate children of different ages as follows:

Ladybirds: 3 Months- 2 years

Busy Bees: 2 Years – 3 years

Butterflies and Dragonflies: 3-5 years (including preschool)

Grasshoppers: 4-7 year old Breakfast, Afterschool & Holiday Club

Scorpions: 8-14 year old Breakfast, Afterschool & Holiday Club

We provide breakfast and snacks as well as hot 2 course lunches and 2 course teas for those that are with us all day. We also offer, (in addition to our 2 weeks closure at Christmas), parents the opportunity to claim 2 weeks as year a ‘fee free period’, subject to one month’s calendar notice.
