DIO OPERATIONS ACCOMMODATION (DIO Ops Accn)

DIO Operations Accommodation at Cranwell manages the 360 quarters located here. Of these 248 are “behind the wire” and the remainder, all AFQs, are located to the rear of the Spar shop on Cranwell Avenue and at West Avenue. The Housing Officer, Mary McAleavy, is based at Cranwell but the office, opposite the Main Guardroom, is no longer open to the public. Mary has experience of living in quarters both in UK and Germany so is au fait with the unique pressures and challenges of service life.There is a Housing Surgery held every Tuesday between 1400 and 1500 hrs and access for this is via the rear door of the office. The surgery is ideal for anyone wishing to drop in paperwork, meet the Housing Officer or discuss any general housing issues.

If you are visiting Cranwell prior to your move-in and wish to view the property you have been allocated, please contact the HIC well in advance. If the keys are available from the Prime Contractor this may be possible but is not guaranteed.
