2011 was a wonderful season for both the Royal Air Force Senior and Under 25 XIs. The Under 25 XI started things off with outstanding victories over the RN and Army to win their Inter-Services Festival at Aldershot. The Senior XI showed great character and skill in winning the Inter-Services Twenty20 at Lord’s with victory over the Royal Navy by 6 wickets and then recovered from a rocky start to defeat the Army by 38 runs.
