Bike Fest 2012 Announced

The amazing RAF Cycling Association Bike Fest will be held on the weekend 11th-12th of February 2012 at RAF Halton.

On the Friday, all club members and those interested in joining RAF Cycling will descend on RAF Halton where they will have the opportunity to take part in an exiting guided night time mountain bike ride.

On the Saturday morning there will be more guided road and mountain bike rides rides around the local roads and trails of Buckinghamshire. (Downhill mountain bikers, will have the chance to ride on Aston Hill DH course).

Saturday afternoon will see everyone gathered to be entertained by a selection of interesting guest speakers, followed by the AGM - and a chance for socialising and have some bike related fun.

Sunday morning will see more social rides around the local area.

Travel authority will be granted and accomodation will also be available.

This is a great opportunity to meet and speak to the committee and other club members - tell the discipline Secretaries what you want to see in your ride calender - speak to the Exped and Development Secretary about upcoming expeds etc

It is also an opportunity to get together as an Association pre-Season and agree where we want RAF Cycling to head to in the next year. It is also a chance to meet with the folks that you only know by their forum usernames and to learn from experienced racers, coaches and enthusiasts. The riding will be as serious or as informal as you choose to make it. If nothing else, you get to talk shiny kit all weekend!
