Chaplaincy
THE CHAPLAINCY
The Chaplain provides a confidential listening and counselling service to people of any faith and to people of no faith at all. The current Chaplain is Church of England, but for specific denominational matters pastoral cover is provided by the CSFC and RC Chaplains as RAF Cranwell. The Chaplain’s office is in the Integrated Welfare Facility (where the HIVE and Coffee Shop are also located), which is right next to Car Park B, near the main station entrance.
The Church of St Michael, St Andrew and St Francis within the Aerodrome is available to all Christian denominations here at RAF Digby, and is open during daylight hours as a place for anyone to come and use for some quiet time or to pray. During night hours the key may be obtained from the Guard Room. Weddings and Christenings can be conducted in the church; for details contact the Padre. There are currently no regular Sunday services held in the church, but the Padre holds extensive details about the churches of all denominations in the local area.
