FIRE SERVICES
The Fire Section is located in Building 51 and is manned by the Fire Safety Manager and his deputy. They carry out Fire Prevention, Fire Training, Fire Extinguisher Servicing and are available from 0800hrs until 1630hrs (1600hrs on Fridays) daily for any information or advice reference Fire Safety.
RAF DIGBY DOES NOT HAVE AN ON-SITE FIRE SERVICE VEHICLE OR FIRE PIQUET TEAM AND IT CAN TAKE UP TO 15 MINUTES FOR THE LOCAL FIRE SERVICE TO ARRIVE SO THE ACTION YOU TAKE NEEDS TO BE QUICK AND PRECISE.
Reporting of Fire Emergencies from Married Quarters at RAF Digby Action by Occupants or Person Discovering a Fire:
RAISE THE ALARM!
1. Shout for assistance.(FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!)
2. Call out the Fire Service by dialling 999 (public or BT phone or mobile phone). Inform the VCP on 01526 327451 or send someone giving details to the duty staff.
OR Use an emergency phone (listed below) Lift the receiver and wait for the operator and give details.
OR Run to the VCP and give details to the Duty Staff.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIGHT THE FIRE!
GET OUT! STAY OUT!
GET THE FIRE SERVICE OUT!

12 Howard Road, 1 Spinney Lane, 3 Beech Grove, 12 Spinney Lane, 13 Robin Court and 14 Linnet Court.
