Guidance
This is an opportunity for individuals to have an interview with as trained Adult Adviser. It is an in-depth process, which helps explore a range of options, relate information to needs, and make decisions about learning.
Resettlement
Whilst all of the above will help, you must remember that the armed service is not a job for life and at some stage we have to consider a second career. Resettlement plans should start from the moment you leave basic training. At the Training & Learning Centre we are here to help you devise an action plan. In the last two years of service all service personnel are entitled to certain provisions (these depend on individual circumstances) in the way of retraining and assistance in preparing for that second career. To assist you in maximising what is available the Learning centre has a Resettlement Adviser and Coordinator who will guide and help you to start a second career.
