RAFEdTOA Cheese and Wine Evening – Thursday 5 May 11

The RAFEdTOA are pleased to invite you to a Cheese and Wine event, with a chance to tour College Hall Officers’ Mess on Thu 5 May. Timings will run as follows:

• 1230-1400: Coffee/tea, with buffet lunch in Lancaster and Spitfire Rooms (CHOM)
• 1400-1530: Tour of CHOM with Mr Bell, meeting in the CHOM rotunda
• 1530-1600: Break
• 1600-1630: Branch update
• 1630-1800: Personal admin
• 1800-1930: Evening meal – reserved dining in Daedalus Mess
• 1930-onwards: Cheese and Wine evening in Lancaster and Spitfire Rooms (CHOM)

The dress code while in CHOM is lounge suit or ladies’ equivalent. Accommodation is available for the event and attendees are asked to make their own arrangements by contacting the accommodation cell on 95751 x 6838 or 01400 266838. For those not entitled to stay in the Mess, the Travelodge is only 5 miles away and costs just £39 per room (http://www2.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/hotel_overview.php?hotel_id=177).

The event will cost £12 and this will cover refreshments, a buffet lunch, an evening meal and the wine; the Association will cover the cost of the cheese. A cash bar will also be available to purchase drinks. In order to prevent money from changing hands in the Mess, the function cost should be paid prior to the event.
