Free race training as a pilot, navigator or marshal for RAFFCA Members

The Royal Aero Club (www.airraceuk.co.uk) are organising two one day Air Race Schools (with briefings on race technique, rules and procedures … and an air experience) at North Weald on 27th and 28th March 08 (free landings fees if you fly in).

The cost is £35 for pilots and £20 for navigators and marshals (cost of aircraft use if you don’t take yours and manuals is extra). The training captain is Roger Hayes at rogerhayes@dial.pipex.com or tel: 01285 851311

We agreed that any RAF Flying Club member who wanted to do this one-day course could do so at RAFFCA’s expense. If interested, apply for it and then let Tony Edge (tjedge@ntlworld.com) know.

This is the sort of activities we need more pilots doing.
