RAF Henlow Flying Club
RAF Henlow
There are two Flying Clubs at Henlow; a civilian Flying Club, ‘Henlow Flying Club’ (HFC) and a Service Club; ‘RAF Henlow Aero Club’ (RAFHAC). RAFHAC is a group of service personnel who fly out of Henlow in their own aeroplanes, including a Turbulent, Emeraude, Tiger Moth, Trago Mills, PA28 and a Tipsy Nipper.
RAF Henlow Aero Club
Henlow Aero Club welcomes service persons who operate their own aircraft or have an interest in the operation of light aircraft. We do not currently offer any aircraft for hire but hope to be able to offer a Turbulent for hire later in 2012. We are able to offer coaching in formation and display work up along with tail stagger conversions in our CFI's Chipmunk. Several members of the club fly as part of 'Captain Nevilles Flying Circus' a barnstorming act that displays at Station Families Days and other airshows. The club has it's own workshop for the maintenance and restoration of aircraft. In 2011 it held a flying Exped around East Anglia and plan to make this an annual event
