RAF Lyneham Flying Club

About us

Our aim is to provide good value flying and the club is available to all regular and reserve military servicemen, servicewomen, their dependants and some MOD civilians. There are also opportunities for civilian membership RAF Lyneham Flying Club was set-up in 2003 by some keen personnel serving at Lyneham.

It started as a small club with just one aircraft and limited amount of time available from an instructor. Since then it has grown steadily and now has approximately 150 members, 4 part-time instructors and a full-time instructor. The club now operates out of Cotswold Airport (Kemble) due to the closure of RAF Lyneham's airfield.

The club operates 3 Piper PA28 Warriors a Piper Arrow a Robin HR200 and a Scottish Aviation Bulldog.
