Extraordinary General Meeting

Please find attached information detailing the voting requirements for the Extraordinary General Meeting to be held at the RAFGSA Centre, Halton, at 1300 hrs on 25 Feb 09. The resolutions pertain to dissolving the current association and transferring to a charitable company, the Royal Air Force Gliding and Soaring Association. This entails changes to the current constitution which are also detailed in the attachments. The meeting will also need to consider the trustees, who will be proposed at the meeting.

This process and the associated detail is in keeping with the briefing I gave at the last AGM, but a further briefing will be provided at next week’s meeting.

All recipients and especially OICs, CFIs and Secs are requested to give this information the widest distribution amongst the GSA membership. Again, all Members of the RAFGSA are invited to attend, but Club OICs are to note that duty travel for the EGM will be authorised by the RAF Sports’ Board only for one representative from each unit.
