A6 Golf Challenge; 30 Sep 10
A6 Golf Challenge; 30 Sep 10
The A6 Golf Challenge for 2010 will take place at Studley Wood Golf Club on Thursday 30 Sep 10 and competitors Tee Times can be viewed via this link. The cost of the day is £45 per person. Once again we have RAF Sports Board recognition whereby the event is deemed ‘duty’, saving a day’s leave, and travel costs can be reclaimed.
The format of the day involves a 9-hole morning Texas Scramble warm-up followed by the afternoon’s 2-man team Stableford main event. Ideally teams should be from the same Unit/organisation but, in the event of individual entries being received (which is perfectly acceptable), players will be paired off into teams.
The Application Form should be completed and returned to Sgt Jasper Timmins (details in Application Form), with your cheque, at your earliest convenience - but not later than 3 Sep 10. If the A6 Golf Challenge is over-subscribed, entries will be accepted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Your support in attending this increasingly popular event is strongly encouraged.
Please note that this event, whilst recognised by the RAF Sports Board, is not an official RAF Golf Association event, eligibility for entry being limited to serving personnel of the A6/CIS/ICT branches/trades or personnel currently serving in an A6/CIS/ICT post.
