With 5 scores from each 6-man team to contribute to the overall team scores, there was no room for passengers in this Scratch Stableford competition which saw 65 low handicap golfers from 11 different stations competing. Nevertheless the 5-man team from High Wycombe was able to edge to the top of the pile and will be joined by RAF Brize Norton and RAF Benson at the Inter-Station Scratch Finals at Sleaford GC on 22/23 Sep 11. Individual performance of the day at Studley Wood was by Benson's Gary Wilkinson who scored an excellent 1-under-par round of 72, generating 37 stableford points. From the Scottish and NI Championships, RAF Lossiemouth has qualified for the final (results to follow) and from the Central Region, 7 stations will battle it out for the last 2 remaining Sleaford places in early Sep.
