Community and Support Facilities
The Station has a comprehensive range of facilities. If you have a view on how the Station could improve or increase the facilities available to personnel and their families please contact the community development worker.
Community Police and Neighbourhood Watch
A Community Policeman is available on the unit to deal with all you rountine comunity enquiries. There is also a neighbourhood watch scheme in operation at RAF High Wycombe and the community policeman is the deputy neighbourhood watch area co-ordinator. All occupants of family quarters are encouraged to become members. If you wish to talk to the community policeman, or want to join the scheme, please contact him via the RAF Police main guardroom on Ext 6721/6731 during office hours. At evenings and weekends he can be contacted via the duty RAF Police on Ext 6481/6381.
Station Coffee Shop
The Station coffee shop is for all the family. It is located on No 3 site, the entrance is to the right of the Spar shop. The coffee shop has a varied menu from breakfasts to afternoon cakes, inlcuding a childrens menu. A pre-order takeaway is also available. Opening times are Mon - Fri 0900-1500.
Shopping, Postal and Internet facilities
Spar Shop (The NAAFI)
The Spar shop is situated to the left and behind the barrier at the entrance to No3 site. Opening hours:
Mon-Fri 0730-2200, Sat, Sun and Bank holidays 0830-2200.
Supermarkets/Stores
Asda(24 hour opening) and John Lewis are situated in the Holmers Farm Estate, Cressex, near Junction 4 of the M40.
Tesco, Homebase, Dreams and MFI are situated on the Knaves Beech Trading Estate off the A40 near Junction 3 of the M40.
Post Office
The nearest post office is in Naphill village. Opening hours: Mon-Wed, Fri 0900-1730 Thu 0900-1300 Sat 0900-1230. Tel 01494 563288.
Internet Facilities
24 hour Internet facilities are available to all personnel within training and development flight.
