U23s Team

The RAF U23 Men's Hockey team is run as a development squad for new players in the RAF, and feeds a steady stream of players to both the RAF senior and the Combined Services U23 teams. Crowned Inter-Services Champions in 2006 at both Indoor and outdoor tournaments, the team has since been very much in contention with the other two services, losing only by a single goal to the RN and convincingly beating the Army 6-0 at the 2008 outdoor tournament. The Indoor tournament was also a very close run affair, with several new players coming into the side this year.

The team is always on the lookout for new players, and all standards are welcome. The coaching team is experienced working with a wide range of player abilities, and our current squad contains several players who are in only their first two seasons of field hockey!
