Training Wing is an integral part of the RAF Honington organisation and provides a crucial component of the Honington operational output. As such our contribution to Honington's output of "Combat Support delivered at range and in time". Our vision is an aspiration for the future state of Training Wing:

A Training Organisation that, person for person and pound for pound, is second to none.

The strive towards this vision will be measured by:

• The achievement of endorsed Training Objectives for all of our courses.
• High trainee retention rates for all of our courses.
• High instructor and student morale.
• The training organisation of choice for staff and instructors.

The Training Wing Mission is to:

Provide appropriate recruit, professional and career training for the airmen, NCOs and officers to satisfy the trained manpower requirements of the RAF Regt.

Our role here is to:

"Train in, not select out"
