Fred Harris, 30 from Birmingham, joined the RAF as an Aircraft Technician (Mechanical) in 1995 and is currently based at RAF Marham. Before joining the RAF, Fred spent a short while with the GB judo squad, and since representing the RAF in judo, he has competed, and won everything! Currently a 3rd Dan, he is also the British Masters Champion, RAF and Combined services Champion, and is ranked 5th in GB. Fred is the RAF Judo Association team coach and can be seen on the latest RAF recruiting video, where he talks of the excellent opportunities that the RAF has offered him in pursuing his judo career.
