Senior Aircraftman Martin Tattersall (aka Tats), 31 from Blackpool, joined the RAF in 2003 after completing an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering. He is new to judo and is currently therefore a white belt; however, he aims to become a black belt one day. In addition to judo, Martin enjoys Ju-jitsu, kobudo, boxing, shooting and fishing. Martin, who is based in station workshops at RAF Leuchars, is married and has a baby on the way.
