No 2 RAF Police Wing 4 Squadron

To provide focused Police, Counter Intelligence and Protective Security Support, To enable Commanders to Deliver Effective Military Capability.

No 4 RAFP Squadron is responsible for the delivery of policing and security outputs at RAF Aldergrove, RAF Boulmer, RAF Kinloss, RAF Leuchars, RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Spadeadam.

Police and Security Flight at RAF Leuchars is now part of 4 Squadron RAF Police; 4 Squadron is made up of the 5 Royal Air Force stations based in Scotland and the North East of England, commanded by a Squadron Leader based at RAF Lossiemouth. A Flight Lieutenant heads police Flight at RAF Leuchars; RAF Police Flight personnel are responsible for the security and general policing of all areas at RAF Leuchars, comprising of both technical and domestic site, including the families quarters. The RAF Police at Leuchars operate a busy General Police Duties Section, Protective Security Section, Special Investigations and Police Dog Section. The Flight, operate and maintain close links with RAF Security Specialist Sections and other law enforcement agencies. RAF Police and Fife Constabulary often perform joint patrols of the area, something, which is very unique and very successful in crime reduction to the Leuchars area.
