Learning Centre & DELC

The Learning Centre and Defence Electronic Learning Centre (DELC) are open to all military personnel, their dependants and MoD civilians stationed at RAF Leuchars and its parented units. Facilities available include:

• A recreational and reference library
• Information and advice regarding local colleges and training providers
• Classrooms are available to be booked for meetings and courses
• A quiet study area
• Ad hoc courses and events throughout the year

The Learning Centre and DELC are situated next to the Church and are open on a drop in basis. The Learning Centre is open Monday to Friday 0800-1700 and 24 hour access to the DELC is available.

Learning Centre

A series of MS Office courses are held on site in the Learning Centre IT suite. The courses are targeted at Service personnel and MoD Civilians. Each course lasts 1 day and is funded by RAF Leuchars. Courses include:

• Beginner-Advanced Access
• Beginner-Advanced Outlook
• MS Frontpage

DELC

The DELC is a registered ECDL Test Centre and provides access to 20 broadband linked computers for use by all MoD Civilians, Military and Dependants at RAF Leuchars.
