Freewheelers Cycle Club

The aim of the FCC is to promote cycling for leisure and commuting to work. Cycling should be an inexpensive activity that allows you to explore the countryside, as our name implies, with total freedom. Consequently joining the FCC is completely free of subscription charges. You are invited to pay with your enthusiasm and commitment towards making the club successful.

You will meet like-minded people and be able to share your cycling experience and knowledge. If the FCC appeals to you and you would like to know more, get in touch or join today. You can also give us a try by coming along to any of our rides and just register for the day.

Our rides are monthly, normally on a Sunday and it is free to participate. Light rain showers will not put us off but check-in if in doubt. The emphasis is on enjoyment and there are plenty stops for rests and photographs along the way. Choose whether to have a packed-lunch or eat in a comfortable cafe on our route. Where possible, traffic-free routes along the National Cycling Network are taken but these are limited.

Monthly on Sunday mornings as notified in our calendar. All rides start at 10am prompt. Rides normally begin from the Leuchars Hive with the exception of away days. Full details and meeting instructions as notified.
