Leuchars Youth Project (LYP)

The Leuchars Youth Project comprises of two busy and vibrant Youth Clubs offering a range of activities and experiences for children, and a popular drop-in Youth Club for young people. They are all safe and friendly environments for children and young people to have fun, make new friends and try new things. The junior clubs are run by the Station Youth Worker - Miss Lucy Allin (who is employed by the RAF Benevolent Fund and 4children), Sessional staff and volunteers. Staff an volunteers deliver an eclectic programme ranging from sports, dancing, crafts and smoothie making, to trips and visits from organisations like the RNLI and RAF Fire Brigade.

We are keen to recruit volunteers for our clubs. Volunteers are vital for the continued provision of the LYP at RAF Leuchars – without volunteers and the diverse skills they bring the projects couldn’t simply continue.

P1-3 Club

• Mondays 1800 – 1930 hrs
• The Old Bright Horizons Nursery (Winn House)
• £1.50 (including drink and snack)

P4-7 Club

• Tuesdays 1800 – 1930 hrs
• The Old Bright Horizons Nursery (Winn House)
• £1.00 (tuck shop for snacks)

Seniors (S3+)

• Mondays & Wednesdays 1930 – 2200 hrs
• The Old Bright Horizons Nursery (Winn House)
• £0.50
