Play & Learn

Play and Learn is an activity based group for young children based onthe Play@Home books which is a programme developed in Fifeto help parents give their child a healthy start in life.

Play and Learn is split into 3 age groups:

Play and Learn Newborn

Aimed at babies from newborn to around 12 weeks.

This is a group held in the Health Visitors Room for 3 weeks where parents canexplore their new role as parents and get advice on baby related topics.

Play and Learn Baby

Aimed at babies aged 9 months to 15 months.

This programme provides the opportunity and support for parents to exploredifferent tastes, smells, sounds, colours and textures with their childrenthrough play activities.

Play and Learn Toddler

Is aimed at parents and children aged 22 months to 30 months.

The programme provides noisy, messy and activity based age appropraiteplay, scoial interaction and suggestions for healthy snacks.

Play and Learn Baby and Toddler takes place on a Tuesday from 0930-1130hrs in the Community Centre on a rotational basis.
