SSAFA Forces Help at RAF Leuchars
At RAF Leuchars there are two professionally qualified civilian support workers who provide a confidential welfare service on a variety of issues including family, relationship and personal difficulties; childcare issues; stress, anxiety or depression; debt, financial problems or benefit advice; illness, disability or special needs; housing, resettlement; bereavement; equal opportunities, discrimination or harassment; adoption and many many more.
If you or your family need emotional or practical support or just someone to listen then please feel free to contact us on the telephone number below or visit the office for an appointment. If we are unable to help then we can refer you to the best agency/person to meet your needs.
No concern is ever too small to be heard.

SSAFA In Service Volunteers
We now have 13 fully trained in service volunteers at Leuchars who are very busy undertaking diverse roles such as befriending, grass cutting, hospital appointment runs, and escorting children to after school clubs to name a few.
Becoming a volunteer is a rewarding, challenging experience. Anyone over 18 years can apply to be a volunteer.

SSAFA Contact Houses
There are now 3 houses available for use by service personnel. Priority will be given to separated parents who wish to have residential contact with their children. There is a high demand for these properties so please book early. To book please phone:
