RAF Lossiemouth airfield operations

The station currently runs its flying program during the day time, though night time flying operations occur frequently.

Certain times are regarded as 'quiet times' where flying may be restricted for the public's convienence.

With 202 Sqn Search and Rescue on base, the airfield is operational most of the time, even if the main runways are not being used for fixed wing flying.

The UK is split into a number of Low Flying Areas, or LFA. RAF Lossiemouth is situated at LFA 14

Complaints about disturbance from aircraft or helicopters operating from, or in the vicinity of, RAF Lossiemouth may be referred to the Station's Low Flying Complaints Dept.
