RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPOSITION

The Forward Support (Engineering and Logistics) Wing at RAF Lyneham is among the largest in the Royal Air Force. The size of the Hercules twin-fleet, the layout of Lyneham's airfield, and the need to provide 24-hour, year-round shift coverage has necessitated a Wing spanning 5 squadrons, namely:

• Engineering Operations Squadron
• 33 (Engineering) Squadron
• Logistic Squadron
