The CMC and Mess Committee welcome you to one of the largest and busiest Messes in the UK. With a membership of 676 Serving Members, 157 Associate Members, 30 Honorary Members and 21 Retired Members (09/02/20), you are guaranteed well attended and spectacular functions.

Dining Room Opening Times
Meal times for the Mess are shown below. Only cold salad or sandwich meals can be provided outside the Mess meal times and then only by prior arrangement with the dining room staff.
- Mon to Fri Weekends/Public Holidays
- Breakfast: 0645-0845 hrs and 0700-0930 hrs
- Lunch: 1145-1245 hrs and 1200-1245 hrs
- Dinner: 1645-1800 hrs and 1630-1730 hrs
Car Parking
A car park for the exclusive use of members and their guests is provided at the front of the Mess, and additional parking is available at the side and rear of the Mess. All vehicles parked in the Mess car park are to be registered with RAF Police Flt or the Control of Entry Point, and the appropriate vehicle pass is to be displayed prominently. Members and/or guests are not to park their vehicles on the roads or grassed areas surrounding the Mess.
Newspapers and Periodicals
Newspapers and periodicals are provided in the anteroom for the benefit and enjoyment of all members and their guests. Members or guests are not to remove newspapers or periodicals from the anteroom.
Library
The Mess has a small but varied selection of books in the Library, located in the foyer of C-G wing. The Library is run on an honesty basis.
Television
Communal TVs are provided in the Members’ Bar, the TV Room adjacent to the Ante Room, and the members only TV Room in “I” Wing of the accommodation area. The new Mess Annex can receive terrestrial and both digital and analogue ‘Sky’ television. However, it is up to the member to provide the receiving device.
Telephones and Mobile Telephones
Public telephones are provided for use by members in the main corridor to the left of the Reception Office. Service telephones are provided in the Mess foyer, Ladies Room and Mess Annex. Mobile phones are to be switched off or made non-audible when in public rooms.
The new Mess Annex has BT connections. To connect the telephone, the occupant is to ring BT giving the telephone number on the box. Payment of bills and all charges incurred, remains the responsibility of the occupant.
Private Laundry
Washers and dryers are located in the laundry room on “F” Wing of the old mess and in the centre utility rooms on each floor of the mess annex. Irons and ironing boards are not to be removed from the laundry rooms.
