Organisation
Have you ever wanted to plan an event on MoD Land? Not sure who to contact? Need a man on the inside? Well you have just found him. As the newly appointed Competition Secretary and Events Coordinator, it?s my job to know what?s going on, where and when, but to do this I need your help. If you are planning an event, get in touch and I will endeavour to help out. What can you do for me I hear you cry? Well for starters I know the right people in the right places to make your event happen. Having just organised RAFMAA?s biggest event of the year, the RAFMAA Annual Fly In and coordinating the many uses of MOD airfields by other flying associations, I know it can be difficult to get these events off the ground, but I am more than happy to act as a point of contact and liaise with the relevant agencies.
Equipment
I also have at my disposal various equipment including, two gazebos fully emblazoned with the RAFMAA logos, which I am more than happy to lend out. There are also many people within RAFMAA that are more than happy to come and help out at your event, all be it callers, pit men, marshals or transmitter control.If we dont have what you need then maybe we know someone who does, get in touch we maybe able to help.
Promotion
Have you got a families day coming up? Why not borrow a RAFMAA gazebo and show off your club to the rest of the camp whilst promoting RAFMAA. Are you planning on going to one of the shows? Why not take a gazebo, it?s a great way to have a storage area for your models whilst putting the face of RAFMAA out into the public eye. Would you like RAFMAA to support your local fly-in? we would be more than happy to come along and support your club. If you are planning any event and fancy a model display be it static or flying, why not get in contact, we have several people who are able and more than happy to put on a show for you. Even better why not have ago yourself, we can offer training/ RC experience to groups like Air cadets, Scouts and alike.Get in touch and lets see what we can do for you.
