How to calculate your membership costs

Within RAFMAA you have the choice of paying for the various aspects of flying such as insurance and RAFMAA membership seperately, or you can pay us in one and we'll take care of everything else. If you wish us to do it all for you, then please ensure that your payment is sufficient for the following 4 elements.

1. Membership (Mandatory): i.e. Associate £15.  Click here for explanation of Membership categories.

2. Insurance (Optional): i.e. £31 for BMFA.  Click here for details of BMFA Insurance

3. Club (if not paid directly to club): i.e. £40 for RAF Odiham.  Click here for details of club costs.

4. T-shirt. This year, RAFMAA is teaming up with the RAF Clothing Supplier, Gilmour Sports Clothing, to offer a free T-shirt for all RAFMAA applicants who apply before 31 Jan 2012. These T-shirts will have "Royal Air Force Model Aircraft Association" on the front and our RAFMAA logo on the back. If you would prefer a Polo Shirt instead of the free T-shirt, then please include an additional £5.

Depending upon whether BMFA and club fees were paid seperately and whether or not the T-shirt was upgraded to a Polos shirt, the cost using the examples above would vary between £15 and £91.
