Membership Categories
Full Membership.Full membership is open to:
a. All Serving personnel of the RAF.
b. Members of other Armed Forces of the Crown serving with the RAF.
c. Personnel of Commonwealth and Allied Forces serving under RAF command.
To join, simply fill in the application form online.
Associate Membership.Associate membership is open to:
a. Members of other Armed Forces of the Crown not serving with the RAF.
b. Members of the Reserve Forces of the RAF, University Air Squadrons, Air Training Corps and Combined Cadet Force (Air Element).
c. Ex-Service personnel of the Armed Forces of the Crown.
d. Service Dependents.
e. Personnel of Commonwealth and Allied Forces serving under the command of other Armed Forces of the Crown.

Honorary Membership. Honorary members may be elected by the AGM. Serving members are not eligible for honorary membership. Although there is no cost associated with Honorary Membership, Honorary members are required to re-register online yearly to ensure that our records are kept up to date.
Affiliate Membership. Affiliate membership is open to civilian members of RAFMAA clubs. To become an affiliate member, your club OIC must be willing to vouch for you and accept you as a member of their club. If your club OIC is prepared to do this, then apply using the online application form, providing details of the OIC as your sponsor.
Junior Membership. Junior membership is open to children in full time education. Simply fill in the application form online, providing details of your Serving parent as your sponsor.

*Members of the Sports Lottery receive a £2 discount so only pay £10.
Voting
Associate, Honorary and Affiliate members have a vote in the running of their RAFMAA club subject to overarching RAFMAA provisions but no vote on wider RAFMAA matters unless a member of the committee and expressly given voting rights by the President.
