From its inception in 1949 the RAFMAA has been one of the driving forces of the sport and even today it has members competing at national level. Although much smaller than it once was due to the reduced size of the Royal Air Force, it still has clubs throughout the country from the North at RAF Kinloss to the South at St Mawgan and is recognised by the British Model Flying Association as an Area in its own right. We fly and support all disciplines so whether you’re interested in Radio Control aeroplanes of any description, Helicopters, indoor, or even Free Flight or Control Line we have like minded modellers looking forward to meeting you.
