2620 (County of Norfolk) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment Recruiting Now
2620 Sqn are recruiting males aged 18 – 45 to be RAF Regiment reserve gunners
Training on Wednesday evening and one weekend per month plus a 15 day block period

Eligibility
Basic requirements:
- British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen
- Medically fit
- Aged between 17½ and 45
- Able to commit to a minimum of 27 days training per year (mainly working weekends and on Wednesday evenings)
Selection
Before joining the Squadron you will need to successfully complete the following criteria:
- Complete an application pack
- Receive security clearance
- Pass the Airman Selection Test (multiple choice covering basic English, maths, etc)
- Pass a selection interview at the Squadron
- Pass a Service Medical
- Pass the Pre-Joining Fitness Test
Pay and Benefits
Once you have joined the Squadron you’ll be paid every time you attend for training, as well as being able to claim a mileage rate for each journey between your home and the Squadron. Reservists are also eligible to apply for an Annual Tax-Free Bounty of up to £1674, on completion of their mandatory training.
