RAF Marham Easter Youth Activities Programme of Events 2007 and Terms and Conditions for Easter Activities
Terms of Reference – Parents/Carers
1. We are pleased that your child would like to take part in the Holidays Activity Programme 2007 (HAP 07) and request that in order for us to provide an acceptable and safe environment for your child to enjoy the programme the following points should be adhered to.
Please complete and sign a consent form for each child detailing medical conditions/needs; GP details; contact details providing authority of ‘loco parentis’; permission to have photographs or videos taken.
Any child on the 4-13 programmes will need permission to walk home alone.
You will be provided with further written information and invited to a briefing session regarding any hazardous activities.
Remind your child of the following:
Do not take risks
Follow the leader’s instructions
Behave responsibly
Be alert to anything that may hurt or threaten your child or anyone else in the group and tell the group leader or supervisor about it immediately.
All staff and volunteers will have be been briefed regarding child protection, that if they have any concerns regarding a child they are to report to OIC HAP immediately.
Any child whose behaviour may be considered dangerous or potentially injurious to themselves or to the group may be prevented from going on, or remaining on the activity. Parents may be required to collect their child from the activity venue as soon as is practical.
Non-refundable payment is required at the time of booking
2. Disclaimer:
RAF Marham HAP management cannot accept responsibility for your child’s personal property when participating in HAP events. You are advised to review your insurance cover and encourage your child to take the minimum amount of personal property and monies needed for each activity.

Venue: Sandringham Centre
We are delighted that Norwich Puppet Theatre will be visiting us to hold puppet-making workshops. The style of the puppet has not been decided yet, but the children will be able to taken them home. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

1300 – 1500 hrs....................... Dance Workshop

Cost £3 per session
Venue: Sandringham Centre
Come along to one or both sessions, a variety of dance styles will be taught by Professional Dance Teacher Elizabeth. So whether you fancy dancing to music from Fame or some Hip Hop, lads and lasses get your dancing shoes on.
Wednesday 11th April
1000 – 1400 hrs....................... A day at the Shed

Pick up at the Sandringham Centre
The Shed is the first-ever local authority owned indoor skatepark in the UK. So if you would like to have a day out skateboarding, BMXing or inlining this is an ideal opportunity to build your confidence. There will be experienced riders to help you and improve your skills.
For safety all the sessions are monitored by trained staff and there is always staff trained in first aid close at hand.
Please note that head protection is compulsory.
I will need to have numbers as soon as possible for this activity in order to arrange transport of anyone taking their bikes.
