RAF Marham Community Visit to RAF Mildenhall 30 July 2007

On 30 July, 22 deployed family members along with Nina Lines, Project Volunteer and 5 Community Development Officers from 5 Royal Air Force Stations were the special guests of RAF Mildenhall at their July’s “Hearts Apart Dinner”.

A very enjoyable evening of bowling and pizza was had by the children, young people and adults alike. Everyone present found that they had a lot in common with the American families, sharing the same anxieties and problems when your partner is away.

RAF Marham are hoping to reciprocate and invite deployed families from RAF Mildenhall in the not too distant future.

What could we offer as a typical English event?
