Brownies World Traveller Badge

The Brownies have been working toward their World Traveller Badge this term and decided that they would like to have some themed evenings to get them in the mood. They held an Indian Evening on Wednesday 3rd October 2007.

The girls dressed in Saris and also tasted Indian Food including Onion Bhajis, pompadoms and mango chutney. They also designed henna hand art and then using black and purple washable paint copied their designs onto their hands.

They have also had a Spanish evening making sombreros, have made passports, designed postcards and learnt how to say hello and goodbye in Italian, French, German and Spanish.
