RAF Marham Golf Club and Golf Course

RAF Marham Golf Club offers all MOD civilians, service personnel & their dependants our well kept golf course. The course consists of 9 holes at a total of 5976 yards (5464.5m) with a current par of 71.The Golf Club also stocks a small amount of golfing equipment including tees, gloves and balls. Larger items and RAF Marham branded golf wear are available to order. The Golf Club's Clubhouse offers a bar & catering facilities. The Clubhouse can also be hired for section functions, children's parties or other social events.

The Clubhouse is located next to Tornado Components Squadron (TCP - previously EES). All Station personnel are welcome to use the bar, where we also serve light snacks and refreshments. We also stock a small amount of golfing equipment including gloves, tees and golf balls. Larger items and RAF Marham branded golf wear is available to order.

LOCAL RULES
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27-1)
(a) On or over any road, taxiway, hard standing or car park bordering the course.
(b) Beyond the line of white stakes on any hole.
(c) The area of the Clubhouse, veranda, changing rooms and gardens.
(d) On or over the road behind the green when playing the 6th hole.

2. STONES IN BUNKERS
Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies).

3. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES (IDENTIFIED BY STAKES)
If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the area of his/her swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in rule24-2b (1) (immovable obstruction). The ball may be clean when so lifted.

4. OBSTRUCTIONS
(a) Manhole covers and concrete installations within the course.
(b) That portion of the roadway crossing the 4/13th hole that is in bounds.
(c) That part of the footpath at the rear of the 8/17th green that is in bounds.
(d) The red and white posts on the 7/16th hole.
(e) The net and supporting poles behind the 6th green.

Note: The Lattice fencing made from logs adjacent to the 8th/17th tee and the fenced in borehole on the right of the 2nd/11th hole are declared to be integral part of the course.

5. PRACTICE PUTTING GREENS
The practice putting green and the old green to the left of the hole 6th/15th and to the right of holes 8th/17th are defined as a "wrong green", (rule 25-3 refers).

6. AIRCRAFT AND VEHICLE MOVEMENTS
Player's must be vigilant and always give way to aircraft, vehicle and pedestrian movements on adjacent roads and taxiways

Specifically, play is to be suspended on the 4th/13th holes and 7th/16th holes whilst aircraft are in transit along the northern taxiway. Players may put out on the greens.

7. FOREIGN OBJECT DAMAGE (FOD)
Balls on or over taxiways must be retrieved.
