The 1 mile Race will commence at 10:35 am from the Marham Village field on Saturday 14 July 2007
Various Prizes for the 10 mile race including medals for the first 10 places and certifucates for all the 1 mile entrants.
Race numbers will be issued on the day.

THE RACES:
The second consecutive RAF Marham ten mile road race and fun run will take place on Saturday July 14th at Marham village. Both the RAF Marham ten and the one mile fun run are organized by members of RAF Marham, in aid of the charity Out and About and as part of the Marham village fun day. The 1 mile fun run replaces last year's 3.5 mile fun run to include all ages and if you have always wanted to experience a mass participation event whilst raising money for charity then this 1 mile fun run is for you. However, if you are a touch more ambitious and feel there is a budding Brendan Foster or Paula Radcliffe in you then try the ten miler which includes a lap of the RAF Marham airfield. This is a fast course that offers potential for achieving your PB.
THE CHARITY
"Out and About" were founded in 1984 and they support disabled children children and young people aged 5-19, enabling them to access leisure activities in West Norfolk and Suffolk. Volunteers provide the majority of direct support work to the 262 children and young people that they support. Out and Abouts aim is to enable disabled children and young people to access their right to full and active inclusion in life. Raising funds, helps them to provide a free service to the children and young people that they support, as they do not belive that disabled children and young people should be charged to take part in 'ordinary life experiences'. THE FAMILY DAY OUT
The Marham village fun day will include a number of traditional children's rides, side-shows for the young at heart, children's quad bikes, food stalls, beer tent, car boot sale, demonstrations by the RAF Marham bomb disposal team (including specialist vehicles) and a display by the RAF'S Tactical Imagery Intelligence Wing. In short a great day out for the family and a warm feeling that you are supporting a charity.

1 mile runners can enter on the day, 10 mile runners need to enter by July 7th 2007. Service personnel and MOD civilians can enter the ten mile road race on the day subject to availability and upon providing their ID cards.

200 for the ten mile race, 100 for the 1 mile fun run.

Entry fees:
10 mle road race = £8 for affiliated runners, £10 for unaffiliated runners.
1 mile road race = £3 for all participants.
