Music in St Clement Danes Recital Series

St Clement Danes Recital Series

The St Clement Danes Church recital series is a monthly series of lunchtime concerts featuring musicians from the Central Band of the Royal Air Force. Since it’s inception in June 2010 the series has proven popular and now regularly entertains audiences of over 60 people. Covering a wide range of repertoire, participating ensembles have included a clarinet quartet, jazz trio and full Symphonic Brass as well as more traditional chamber ensembles.

The concerts take place in St Clement Danes Church, the central church of the Royal Air Force. The nearest tube station is Temple, and the church is located on the Strand, London opposite the Royal Courts of Justice.

Starting at 1.10 pm, each recital lasts approximately 45 minutes and offers a perfect way to take time out from the office or the hectic London streets. Entry is free and refreshments are served after the concert.
