Commandant General RAF Reg’t, Air Cdre Russ la Forte visited Bastion FP Wg from 24-26 Jan as part of his visit to Op HERRICK RAF FP FE’s. During this visit, the CG presented 34 Sqn with the Higginson Trophy in recognition of the Sqn’s outstanding efforts over the year. This week, alongside Regiment Field Sqn patrols and mine-rollers from the US Marine Corps; 34 Sqn have also conducted joint ops around the airfield, in readiness for the imminent arrival of Strat AT.
