The Air-to-Air refuelling aircraft of 101 Sqn have continued their important work of providing fuel to a wide range of contributing ISAF nations; British Tornado GR4s, French Mirages, US F18s & US EA6Bs to name but a few. 101 sqn continue to act as a force multiplier for Air Power, by refuelling aircraft over Afghanistan it effectively extends the range and endurance of combat aircraft, thereby giving allied ground troops Close Air Support ‘on tap’.
