Air Mobility Work Horse

The hard-worked Hercules of 901 & 904 EAW Detachments exemplified the agility and adaptability of Air Mobility this week. The Hercules of 901 EAW’s seamless no-notice task of transporting the Prime Minister around theatre was assisted by the KAF based 904 EAW Hercules taking up the additional tasks previously programmed for 901 EAW. Notwithstanding this the Hercules fleet moved 2977 passengers in and around theatre, well above average numbers. And finally, they even had the capability to adapt plans to help out coalition allies by moving American mail cargo from one end of Afghanistan to the other.
