This has been a highly successful week for Sentinel, with many new lines of operation. Supporting a Helicopter Assault Force, it became apparent that a second Sentinel would be required for the extended operation. A second platform was hurriedly readied and an airborne handover carried out between the 2 aircraft. Other firsts were the enhanced operations with Scan Eagle, a USMC UAV, and the use of Sentinel in Northern AFG to collect GMTI info for a baseline situational awareness of the region.
