The C130-J Hercules of 901 EAW supported a busy flying programme on Op TELIC (Iraq), as well as transporting high priority freight to Kabul and other Op HERRICK destinations. On the engineering front, a scheduled airframe change was completed, to facilitate detailed engineering inspection and maintenance back in the UK. This being more efficient than holding specialist equipment and personnel at forward locations.
