Gerald Howarth MP, the Minister for International Security Strategy and Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) visited Op HERRICK bases and personnel over the period 12-13 February.

The visit allowed the VIP party to meet deployed personnel and get a first-hand update of what is happening on the ground, specifically with regard to security, operational commitments, infrastructure improvements and associated progress as Afghanistan moves towards transition.
