A steady week for the hard-worked Hercules fleet from both 901 and 904 EAW. The Kandahar Airfield based aircraft flew nearly 2750 passengers and 164 tonnes of freight into and around Afghanistan this week. The Air Mobility offered by these aircraft is crucial to supporting the current operational tempo and the aircraft and crews are constantly criss-crossing Theatre delivering personnel and urgent equipment.
