The new Air Traffic Control tower at Camp Bastion was officially opened on 6th March by Air Commodore Ashley Stevenson OBE FRAeS, Air Officer Commanding 83 Expeditionary Air Group and UK Air Component Commander.

The UK financed tower was built within 4 months and will ‘go live’ on 12th March.
