Nimrod R1 aircraft from 902 EAW, continued to provide excellent support to Op BACKBREAKER and to Op HAMKARI in the vicinity of Kandahar. This dual tasking was achieved as a result of the aircrafts’ considerable stand-off capability, enabling wide-area coverage.
