RAF personnel mark a year in the Pyramid

RAF personnel have marked a year of fully integrated working within Pyramid Control. Their role, in the major coalition Middle East Airbase, is the tactical control of all coalition air assets within eastern Afghanistan. Their work includes ‘delivering’ Close Air Support aircraft from across the whole of Afghanistan for Trinity Ops, based in Kabul, to liaise with Forward Air Controllers to support Troops In Contact.
