Despite poor weather affecting other ISAF assets, Tornado GR4s from Kandahar Air Field have managed to continue to provide vital imagery with their RAPTOR pods. Deployed imagery specialists, from RAF Marham based Tactical Imagery Wing, skilfully interpret the collected images in order to produce specific information for military ground commanders. In addition, 12(B) Sqn imagery has also been used by the Provincial Reconstruction Team, assisting in information providing outstanding levels of detail to assist planning for civil engineering work, such as bridge building and irrigation projects.
